Hi there!

My name is Mirette and I am a mama to 2 beautiful girls - one independent 5-year-old and a 1-year-old - and am also a doctor working in cancer care in Sydney, Australia. I started this blog as a way of sharing some of my experiences (as both mama and doctor) and how they have allowed me to reflect on my Lord’s love and grace.

You see, I had a really hard time as a new mum. I became anxious and struggled to marry my work life and mum life to the person I had become - not realising at the time that with the birth of my baby girl came the birth of a new me.

I was lost.

But God found me, and now I’m here to tell you that you are not alone in your struggles and your hurts. I am here. We are all here. My most recent book, “Mama, I See You,” tells the story of my rebirth and is a helpful tool for anyone who might be struggling with their sense of purpose, new mum-dentity, or just looking for solidarity in their struggles.

So, come and take refuge in this space, knowing that you are seen.
